While the majority of the Bristol street art on this page is in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol you'll find works from all over the city. I actually wish more cities took Bristol's attitude to street art and let it flourish. I guess we should start with my favorite work by Banksy The Mild Mild West. You can find the Mild Mild West just outside The Canteen Bar in Stokes Croft in Bristol and just below it you'll find a funky pigeon which as an Everton fan reminds me of Richarlison who does a pigeon dance when he scores. I have no idea why. Rather helpfully this piece is tagged by Hazrdone and her website is here www.hazardone.co.uk. Very possibly my all time favorite bit of Bristol street art is the exceptional wave below which as you can see is on Hillgrove Street in Stokes Croft. you can't help but love something this big and bold, especially as it makes its way around the buildings corner. The next two pieces are from one of my favorite street artists JPS or Jamie Scanlon who you can find plenty about on his Instagram or Facebook pages. JPS is clearly inspired by Banksy but still brings his own distinctive style to the Bristol Street art world. I guess it's time to bring in a little more Banksy now with his comic Well Hung Lover which shows a gentleman caller hanging out of his conquests window while her partner looks for him. You can't go wrong with a bit of comedy in street art, it's just a shame someone decided to take a paintball gun o the piece before I got to take a photo of it. I guess Death by Banksy begs the questions if a piece of Bristol street art is moved into a gallery is it still street art? I'm going to go with yes just so I can put the piece in this guide. You can find Death in the M Shed in Bristol which is a great museum dedicated to this wonderful city. As a Terry Pratchett and Bill and Ted fan I have to enjoy any picture of the reaper. As epic pieces of street art go the dueling duo below on Broad Street has to be classed as a masterpiece and I personally love it. Moving back to Stokes Croft I can only apologise for the lack of quality in the photo below. I will improve it next time I visit Bristol. It's not often you see the entire front of a house turned into an aquarium, but there it is in all its fishy beauty. Just on the subject of our aquatic friends I do enjoy this little whale, he looks very smug. Pretty much the whole of Stokes Croft is a Bristol Street art gallery so hopefully you'll enjoy these very pretty butterflies brightening up the city. I really do feel quite bad that I don't know the name of the artist who did the works above or who did the one below but I think we can all agree they are truly exceptional. One of the other great things about Bristol is the Bristol nightlife so I'm gong to leave you with a couple of bars, The Volunteer Tavern and Zerodegrees who have very much bought into the excellent Bristol street art craze. I hope you enjoyed the Bristol artwork and will excuse my ignorance on the subject.
