Welcome to the Drink in the Sights Rainbows End from Ashover Brewery Beer Review. I've had a few Ashover beers lately and so far the Chesterfield based brewery haven't really let me down so I was happy to give Rainbow's End a go as part of my birthday drinking session in Beerheadz. Rainbows End from Ashover Brewery is a 4.5% pale ale, so it's not exactly a beer that I'd usually go for as a stout lover, but I do like to mix things up a little bit here and there. The beer pours a really nice clear golden yellow with a pretty good white head. As light beers go I have to say this is a bit of a looker. You'll get a very hoppy, fruity aroma from Rainbows End from Ashover Brewery which makes me think it's a summer ale, which is a shame as I'm drinking it the day before Christmas.
Rainbow's End has a nice light and refreshing texture, which again makes me think I'd enjoy it more in the summer. As with the aroma you'll get plenty of hops, plenty of wheat, a little citrus, and a general splattering of fruity flavours, all coming together reasonably well. The simple truth is that Rainbows End from Ashover Brewery is a very good summers drink that I've had at completely the wrong time of year, which makes it hard to judge as I didn't massively enjoy it at the time, but know I would another day. I'm going to give Rainbows End from Ashover Brewery 6.5 out of 10. It's a decent, hoppy, pale ale.
